LTN Hurricane Dorian Statement

Here at LTN, the safety of our volunteers and patrons is paramount. Hurricane Dorian is at this time expected to hit the Hampton Roads area as a major storm. As the City of Norfolk and the Hampton Roads area are expecting a large storm surge, and dangerous winds, we have decided that is the best course of action to cancel both tonight’s Invited Dress Rehearsal for Sweet Charity, and the performance on Friday, September 6, 2019

Although we expect at this time to be able to hold our Saturday performance as scheduled, we will keep everyone apprised as the situation develops, and will make any further cancellation announcements by noon on Saturday, September 7, 2019 based on the safety and availability of actors and crew, and checking on the condition and accessibility of the theater.

The Little Theatre of Norfolk is in evacuation zone A. The safety of our volunteers and patrons is paramount. If you need to evacuate your area, please do so.

Any patrons who are not able to attend their performance date due to a weather emergency have the following options:

-Go online to our website and exchange your tickets for your preferred date and time prior to the date of the missed performance.

-Contact the theatre as soon as possible after the weather event has ended by emailing with the following information:

-Full name

-Date of missed performance

-Performance date you wish to attend

The Little Theatre of Norfolk will then exchange your tickets for the closest seats available on the new date.

Please be safe during emergency weather events. We would like to provide the following information to assist with your decisions on how to best conduct yourself during this storm:
